The Egg Farmers of Newfoundland and Labrador (EFNL) has egg production quota available under the New Entrant Program and is open to receive preliminary Expressions of Interest (EOI) from those who currently do not have, nor previously had, laying hen quota.
The egg quota available is in the amount of 7,500 laying hens and is allocated for the Labrador geographical region. The Preliminary EOI information can be found on our website at www.nleggs.ca under the New Entrant Program heading. Information can also be received by contacting our office at:

Completed EOIs must be sent by registered mail or courier to the EFNL office by November 19, 2025. Applicants are also required to email this form to applications@nleggs.ca. All Expression of Interest (EOI) forms must be accompanied by a cheque in the amount of $50 (fifty dollars) payable to the Egg Farmers of Newfoundland and Labrador. This is a non-refundable EOI processing fee.
Following the closing date, EOI submissions will be reviewed, and applicants will be notified. Eligible applicants will receive information on the next phase of this process from the EFNL office.
